Description |
The lecture is the second part of a three partite series and is primarily for students with a main module in Clinical psychology and psychotherapy. The lecture gives an overview of the basis as well as general concepts and principles of psychotherapy, while individual schools of psychotherapy as well as concepts specific to particular disorders are treated in the "basic" lecture. Among the general aspects are neurobiological foundations, case conceptualizations, the therapeutic relationship, patient and therapist variables and their relation to outcome, moderator-/mediator variables etc.
Limited additional reading.
Attendance on a regular base is expected. Written exam, mainly multiple choice, with some open questions. Reexamination depending on number of participants written or oral. |
