Cognitive interventions |
Description |
The seminar introduces cognitive interventions (such as socractic dialogue, ABC schema and reality testing) which help to identify, challenge and modify dysfunctional cognitions. These interventions will be applied to the cognitive therapy of depression, schizophrenia and social phobia.
The course involves presentations with interactive elements and group discussions. Requirements: The participants are expected to attend the entire seminar (maximally 2 excused absent sessions), to give a presentation and to actively participate in discussions. The overall grade will be determined by the presentation. |
