Title |
Mental Disorders in Employees |
Description |
Mental disorders are frequent reasons for absence from work and for long periods of disability in employees. Detecting work-related problems and related mental disorders too late may lead to severe burdens for the employee and at the workplace. In this seminar we will first learn the basics of psychological strains, mental problems, and mental disorders in the work context. We will then explore possible strategies to detect psychological problems early in the process and to intervene at different stages in the development of a potential disorder. |
