Description |
This course provides basic knowledge about the most common psychiatric disorders and their treatment. Topics covered include anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depression, disorders relevant to behavioral medicine, interpersonal problems, psychoses, substance use disorders and psychopathology in the elderly. Aside from disorder-specific diagnostic and etiological approaches, important research results are addressed.
Requirements: Students are expected to read preparatory texts and attend lectures regularly.
Course assessment: There will be a final examination at the end of the course (multiple choice questions). |
