Title |
Emotion regulation |
Description |
The seminar gives insight into theories and research in the field of emotion regulation. Among other things, we distinguish between automatic and controlled forms of emotion regulation. Various methods (e.g. experimental paradigms/training) for emotion regulation are critically examined. We consider cognitive and social factors as well as psychophysiological and neurophysiological bases of emotion regulation. Clinical disorders (e.g. anxiety disorders and depressive disorders) will also be addressed.
