Title Statistics II
Description The lecture builds on the lecture Statistics I. The following topics are covered:
Systematical overview and selection of statistical procedures, tests for comparison of variances, (factorial) analysis of variance (ANOVA, between-group designs), post-hoc comparisons and contrast analysis for ANOVA, interpretation of interaction effects, repeated measures analysis of variance (RM-ANOVA, within-group designs), mixed-design ANOVA.
A special section of the lecture offers an introduction to programming and basic data analysis using R.

Eid, M., Gollwitzer, M. & Schmitt, M. (2015/2017). Statistik und Forschungsmethoden (4th/5th ed.). Weinheim/Basel: Beltz.

Group exercises on the topics of the lecture "Statistics II":
In addition to the lecture, there will be group exercises. Exercises will be calculated by hand and computer-assisted data analysis will be introduced. For the assignment to one of the exercise groups you can later indicate preferences for certain exercise dates. We will inform you about the schedule in time.

The exercises will take place in the computer room B006, vonRoll, Fabrikstr. 8.

Registration for the lecture will also the register you for the exercise course (i.e., you only have to register for the lecture). Also, there is only one (joint) ILIAS course for the lecture and the exercises Statistics II. The registration for the ILIAS course comes automatically with the KSL registration for the lecture Statistics II.
