Course Description & Learning Outcomes
Problem-solving is an essential skill in today's fast-paced and ever-changing workplace. It requires a systematic approach that incorporates effective decision-making. Throughout this lecture, we will learn an overarching process of identifying problems to generate potential solutions, then apply decision-making styles in order to implement and assess those solutions.
Specifically, after this lecture you will have:
• developed a systematic and analytic approach to solving problems,
• developed the capability to scrutinize issues you are confronted with in business and everyday life,
• an understanding of analytical and creative problem-solving techniques,
• trained your hypothesis-driven thinking,
• developed a critical inquiring research attitude,
• trained your ability to assess the credibility of research. |
