Title |
Current Challenges of Youth Mental Health |
Description |
Adolescents and young adults face a wide range of challenges in different life situations, from global threats such as wars and the climate crisis to experiences of discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation. These challenges often induce insecurity and impact the mental health of those affected. Thus, in this seminar we will discuss scientific literature on selected current challenges, discuss whether or how affected people are involved in the research process (participation) and how scientific findings are communicated within as well as outside the scientific community. The seminar requires a high active participation. Short presentations will be given by the students during the seminar hours, and poster presentations are planned in the concluding sessions. |
