Title AE: Scientific Writing in the Natural Sciences with AI Tools – B2–C1
Description This scientific writing course is for participants with B2–C1 level English (upper-intermediate/advanced). It is designed for students from the faculties of Science, Medicine, VetSuisse, and Human Sciences at the University of Bern. The course aims to help participants write clear and well-organized scientific texts in English and practice a range of skills to improve writing effectiveness and efficiency. Input on and practice with AI tools are integrated into all writing assignments. This course is open to students from Bachelor to PhD level who need help writing scientific texts: BSc and MSc theses, research articles, and others. To gain the most from the course, participants should have scientific results of their own that they can write about during the semester.

Out-of-class workload: maximum of 3 to 4 hours a week.
