Auditors (Gasthörer) are not admitted to this course.

Selection criterion: students of the Master's Program Biomedical Engineering are given preference. Dependent on the number of students, participation in group homework will be limited to BME students.

Guest lecturers from Swissmedic and Integrated Scientific Services (ISS) will be present.

Course type: lecture / exercises / group homework with presentation and feedback.

Attendance rules:
• Attendance is mandatory in group homework.
• Attendance is recommended for lectures.

Course materials are regularly posted on Ilias (www.ilias.unibe.ch). Guest lecturers may hand out printed material.

Required Material or Equipment:
• Laptop (some exercises are based on an internet research)
• Recommended: Copy of script (baseline document for exam, therefore add your lecture notes directly on it)

• Academic dishonesty, plagiarism, and any other kind of fraud will lead to the exclusion from the course and/or a fail grade (grade 1) in the assessment.
• Punctuality
• No radios, audio/cd player, earphones
• No food and beverages in the classroom
