Title |
Excursion 3: Alpine butterflies (Invertebrates) |
Description |
According to special programme. Registration deadline 1. April in KSL. 3 ECTS-credits can be obtained, 0.5 credits per excursion.
The date of excursion may change (see KSL).
The excursions offer an overview of the Swiss invertebrate fauna with special emphasis on insects, spiders, and molluscs. Different biotopes, including caves, dry and wet meadows, freshwater ponds, forests, alpine scree slopes and anthropogenic habitats are visited and the specific fauna of these biotopes is introduced. Students learn to know the major groups of indigenous invertebrates and how to identify the most important species of these groups. In addition, information about distribution, conservation status, ecological preferences, and life habits of these species is given.
Prioritization rules:
1. Major has higher priority than Minor
2. The higher the ECTS of the vessel, the higher the priority
3. Master has higher priority than Bachelor
Note: The crediting of the courses in the profile is crucial for prioritization. Credits in the clipboard are always given the lowest priority. |
