Title |
Applied biostatistics II. With practicals. |
Description |
Statistical methods widely used in the analysis of biological data are presented. The four main topics are regression methods, ANOVA, classification and survival analysis. The course aims at explaining models and underlying concepts as well as corresponding inference methods. The lecture is complemented with practicals where students will apply the introduced methods using the R programming language.
The course builds upon the course “Applied Biostatistics I”; students having acquired the corresponding knowledge in different courses are also welcome. |
