Title |
Research Methods in Health Psychology |
Description |
The goal of this lecture is to introduce students to research methods in health psychology. The lecture is structured into three thematic blocks:
Block I: Basics (research designs, sampling, measurement methods, open science)
Block II: Qualitative methods and mixed methods
Block III: Intensive-longitudinal methods
Each thematic block concludes with an exercise session. In a fourth session we'll apply the learnings to writing a methods section of a scientific report (e.g. Master's thesis) and will discuss a practice exam.
The course will take place in a hybrid format with podcasts and exercise sessions in presence. Taking part in the exercises in presence is recommended (no podcast), but not mandatory (see schedule on ILIAS). |
