Title |
Science Lab I: From study design to study administration |
Description |
This seminar is the first part of the two science lab seminars. It can also be visited as a standalone seminar. The goal of the science lab is to design, plan, and conduct a scientific research study within the field of personality psychology. In the first seminar (science lab I) students develop a research question and hypotheses within the broad research topics described below in small groups. Supervised by researchers in these domains, students will also create the specific study design and methods, and prepare an ethics proposal for their study. At the end of the semester, students prepare a written research proposal for their study which will be graded.
Requirements: regular and active participation in the seminar and in the development of a research project, written research proposal |
