Description |
Registration through special webshop link by(???) mandatory (see link further down or on the fact sheet website https://dcb.unibe-pay.ch/de/pay?tid=41c1aabb. Please also register for the lab course through KSL/CTS in order to get access to the documents in ILIAS. Late applications will not be considered anymore. This leads to a delay with your studies as you will only be able to attend the lab course 1 year later. Therefore, please make sure you stick to the deadline.
Knowledge, comprehension and application of methods and techniques in the following areas: drug dissolution testing; disintegration of dosage forms; grinding and mixing of powders; granulation; flowability of powders; true and apparent densities of powders, sieve analyses; compression and in-process controls; quality control charts and quality control of tablets; fluidized bed and drum coating processes; dispersion and homogenisation of liquid and semi-solid dosage forms; preparation of gels and ointments; preparation of liquid emulsions and suspensions; rheological measurements of viscous systems; particle size measurements; microscopy and microphotography; surface tension of liquid (tensiometry); water purification; sterilisation; sterility testing; freeze-drying; osmometry; conductometry; liposomes.
Prerequisites: Lecture Galenical Pharmacy I and participation at the exam of Galenics I. Lecture in Galenical Pharmacy II in the same semester or previously. |
