Title |
New Frontiers in Sustainable Organometallic Chemistry |
Description |
This course will discuss advanced topics in the organometallic chemistry of the main group and transition metals with a special emphasis on sustainability. Different synthetic strategies designed to tackle current global challenges in economy and society will be addressed. Special emphasis will be placed in the use of earth abundant metals for catalysis as well as the replacement of toxic organic solvents by environmentally benign bioinspired systems.
