Health Behavior Change |
Description |
In this course central theories and models of health behavior change will be introduced, critically discussed and compared. Furthermore, applications of the theories and models to the field of health promotion will be discussed.
In a first part of the course, the central theories and target points for interventions will be discussed in detail. The students prepare weekly reading assignments, and in small groups lead a session on a specific topic. In a second part of the course, the knowledge will be applied in a project where students analyze the theoretical mechanisms of existing health apps. |
