Title |
Motor rehabilitation after brain injuries |
Description |
The seminar deals with the neurobiological principles and therapeutic approaches to motor rehabilitation after brain injuries. The focus is on the neuronal mechanisms of plasticity and recovery, as well as the pathophysiological changes caused by lesions in the motor system. In addition to the presentation of experimental studies on the functional reorganization of the brain, clinical concepts such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and neurotechnological interventions, e.g. robot-assisted rehabilitation and brain-computer interfaces, are discussed. |
