Course:
The pace of digital change is immense and is impacting various aspects of our professional and personal lives. Organizations must ensure viable business models for the present and the future, which typically requires projects and transformation programs. Controls are evolving rapidly, and new digital solutions offer the potential for more automated controls. Consequently, the demand for assurance in the digital space is increasing, both for management and other stakeholders.

In this course, you will become acquainted with the IT auditing profession that independently evaluates and provides assurance regarding information technology solutions and processes and – most importantly – supports Financial Auditors and forensic scientists. Beyond the fundamentals and concepts, you will learn how relevant data is collected, processed, analyzed, and visualized to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of audits. In addition to financial audits, this course also emphasizes the significance of data in the forensic arena. Furthermore, you will gain various practical insights and meet professionals from the field.

Organized by KPMG with a few date on-site at KPMG in Zurich. We will provide theory sessions with exercises and do workshops/hands-on sessions.

Course dates between 18.02.2025 and 20.05.2025, fortnightly, Tuesday morning. Date for exam: 20.05.2025.
