Title |
Digital Therapeutics and Biomarkers for Clinical Psychology: Digital Interventions and Tools for the Detection, Prevention, Treatment, and Monitoring of Mental Disorders. |
Description |
Digital therapeutics and biomarkers represent new approaches to expanding and improving the detection, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illnesses. The seminar "Digital Therapeutics and Biomarkers for Clinical Psychology: Digital Interventions and Tools for the Detection, Prevention, Treatment, and Monitoring of Mental Disorders" aims to equip future clinicians and researchers with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize these technologies. By bridging the gap between traditional clinical methods and modern digital solutions, this seminar seeks to pave the way for innovative treatment and diagnostic tools. Potential touchpoints across the entire diagnostic and therapeutic process will be introduced and discussed. Students will explore how these methods can be used to enable early detection, support the therapeutic process, and improve aftercare. The seminar thus covers the scope from the conceptual development of biomarkers to the creation of concrete use cases. Finally, by explaining how health insurers are involved or need to be involved in the process of development and reimbursement, the entire development and care process will be examined. For some of the lectures, external experts will be invited to share their perspectives on the potential and challenges of digital biomarkers. |
