Title |
Public History and Remembrance Days |
Description |
The processing of historical themes and material in feature films, documentaries, literature and media has enjoyed great popularity for many years. Especially on anniversaries, the production of history contributions to the public increases. In the exercise, the diverse aspects of public history are to be dealt with critically and reflectively by also asking about opportunities and risks. Specifically, anniversaries such as the commemoration of the end of the Second World War, in particular the reference to Eastern Europe, are to be dealt with thematically.
