Excursion: Following Jewish and Christian Traces in Egypt |

Auf einer 10-tägigen Reise machen wir uns auf
Spurensuche jüdischer und christlicher
Zeugnisse in Ägypten. Die Reise soll es den
Teilnehmer:innen ermöglichen, historische
Orte und Pilgerstätte wie das Menaskloster
oder einzigartige Quellen wie die Kairoer
Geniza mit eigenen Augen zu sehen. Auf dem
Programm stehen Besuche in Alexandria, den
koptischen Klöstern im Wadi Natrun, Gizeh
und Saqqara. In und um Kairo werden das
Nationalmuseum, das koptische Museum und
die Antonioskloster besucht. Von dort geht es
weiter nach Aswan, Edfu, Elephantine, Philae,
ins Simeon-Kloster und ins Tal der Könige. Die
Inhalte der Reise werden im FS25 in einem
obligatorischen Seminar vor- und
nachbereitet. |
