Description |
The lecture presents the current state of research on the transition from hunting and gathering societies to first farmers in the early Holocene (Neolithisation, beginning about 12'000 years ago). The basics of the domestication of wild plants and wild animals and the spread of agriculture and livestock farming from the Near East are also presented. |
