English for Exchange Programs and Other Study Abroad (B1–C1) |
| Description |
Are you preparing for an exchange program or another study abroad? This hands-on, fun, and interactive course will help you communicate effectively in academic and social settings while abroad.
Through role-plays and discussions, you will develop your English skills to
• participate actively in international classrooms,
• engage in conversations with professors and your fellow students,
• adapt to various communication styles,
• deal with everyday situations on and off campus.
By the end of this course, you will feel more confident to study, live, and interact in an English-speaking environment.
Out-of-class workload: There is no obligatory out-of-class workload, but if you wish, you have the option to prepare a screencast to further practice your English skills. This is entirely voluntary.
Fee: The course is free, but participants must provide confirmation of acceptance into an exchange program via ILIAS. If you have any questions, please contact orsolya.serkedi@unibe.ch. |
