Title |
Quantum mechanics II |
Description |
This is the second part of a three-semester introduction to
Quantum Mechanics. After solving the harmonic oscillator problem
with operator methods, we discuss at length spherically symmetric
systems, and the concepts of angular momentum and spin. As an application,
the spectrum of the hydrogen atom is determined. Finally, various
approximation methods, as well as the notion of identical particles,
are introduced. |
