Title Statistics II with Exercises
Description The lecture builds on the lecture Statistics I. The following topics are covered:
Systematical overview and selection of statistical procedures, tests for comparison of variances, (factorial) analysis of variance (ANOVA, between-group designs), post-hoc comparisons and contrast analysis for ANOVA, interpretation of interaction effects, repeated measures analysis of variance (RM-ANOVA, within-group designs), mixed-design ANOVA.
A special section of the lecture offers an introduction to programming and basic data analysis using R.

Group exercises on the topics of the lecture "Statistics II with Exercises":
In addition to the lecture, there will be group exercises. Statistical procedures will be calculated by hand and via computer-assisted data analysis. For the assignment to one of the exercise groups you can later indicate preferences for certain exercise dates in the ILIAS course of this lecture. We will inform you about the schedule in time.
