International comparison of political communication: the role of country contexts |

Mediale, politische aber auch ökonomische Länderkontexte prägen die politische Kommunikation. Zentrales Ziel dieser Veranstaltung ist es, die Rolle von Länderkontexten für die politische Kommunikation aufzuzeigen und damit auch deutlich zu machen, dass Forschungsbefunde zu einem Land nicht unbedingt auf ein anderes übertragbar sind.
In der Veranstaltung werden die Möglichkeiten und Probleme der international vergleichenden politischen Kommunikationsforschung analysiert, relevante Kontextfaktoren von Mediensystemen aufgezeigt und schliesslich gefragt, wie Makro-Kontexte die politischen Kommunikationsprozesse prägen – präziser, wie sie die Inhalte, die Wahrnehmung, die Nutzung und die Wirkung medialer Kommunikation beeinflussen.
