| Description |
Seminar in Financial Accounting: New Technology in Accounting
This course is designed to introduce students to new technologies in the field of accounting and to provide them with a deep understanding of how emerging technologies influence decision-making in accounting contexts. The course will cover the following topics in particular: artificial intelligence, social media, computers and mobile devices, and robo financial advisors. Students may choose a topic of particular interest to them and work on it as the main focus of the course. They will be guided in developing a comprehensive perspective on the topic and in generating a research idea related to it.
From a theoretical perspective, the course also helps students gain a clear understanding of main effects, moderation, mediation, and interaction, and apply these concepts when developing research ideas (as well as potential thesis ideas). |
