Description |
This course provides an introduction to diverse methodological approaches and the current state of psychotherapy research in order to provide basic knowledge for the course “Basic Knowledge of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy II”. Course content includes an overview about the most important concepts of psychotherapy, introduction to the methodological bases of psychotherapy research, presentation of exemplary studies, a summary of key findings from process and outcome research as well as fundamentals of general epidemiology and diagnostics.
Requirements: Students are expected to read preparatory texts and attend lectures regularly.
Course assessment: There will be a final examination at the end of the course (multiple choice questions). |
