Description |
The course offers an introduction to the area of anxiety disorders. The particular disorders like social phobia, generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder or the obsessive-compulsive disorder will be processed within the following topics (on the basic of scientific articles): diagnostic, etiology and therapy. In the course small groups introduced and discussed contents and concepts of the anxiety disorders. Beside this, a practical part that includes evidence based treatment or case examples should take place.
Proseminar requirements: The course demands independent and creative cooperation. The assumption of a presentation is expected by all participation. This presentation serves as theoretical basis. Based on this theoretical part a practical part takes place, which can contain discussions, film material or group works. The regular participation (at the most 2x apologetic absence) in the course is expected by the participation, as well as the active participation in the practical course part. |
