Title |
Digitalization in Health Psychology |
Description |
Contents and topic:
Digitalization shaped the first years of this century like almost no other topic. With access to the Internet, more and more people are also gaining access to a constantly growing amount of knowledge that is constantly available and easily obtainable. These consequences of digitalization also affect health psychology and its various fields and applications. In the seminar, we will explore selected topics such as the importance of health literacy, online prevention and rehabilitation, cyberchondria, e-patients or the emancipation of patients.
Structure and design of the seminar:
The sessions consist of a presentation by the students and various inputs from the course instructor. Over the last weeks of the semester, the students have the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice and to realize their own ideas within the framework of a small in-class project.
Requirements and performance evaluation:
The students actively participate in the design, development and conveyance of the contents with a presentation, discussions and the mentioned project.
The grade consists in equal parts of the presentation and a separate learning diary. |
