AMM: Medieval Coinage of the Mediterranean |
Description |
The seminar aims to familiarise participants with the monetary history and numismatics of the Middle Ages (c. 500-1500 AD) of the Mediterranean region. On the one hand, the most important coinages of this period will be examined in their historical and archaeological context. In addition, questions arising from this and aspects of the history of research will also be discussed. |
