Title |
The psychology of criminal and antisocial behavior |
Description |
In this seminar, we will look at psychological theories of crime and violence to illuminate how both psychology and biology play a role in understanding what leads people to commit crimes or engage in antisocial behavior. Drawing on research, real-world examples, and case studies, this seminar will outline theories for understanding criminal behavior.
We will explore topics such as personality, genetics, social influences, psychopathology, environmental and cultural factors to understand the nature of criminal behavior. |
