Description |
The lecture provides insight into theories and research in the field of affective neuroscience. Important topics are the neurophysiological foundations of emotional experience, emotion regulation and empathy. Clinical disorders (e.g. anxiety disorders and depressive disorders) will also be covered. Finally, we will address the limitations of affective neuroscience as well as ethical concerns. |
