Introduction to Ultraprecision Engineering |
Description |
Next generation products e.g. space, aerospace, watch industry and advanced medical devices demand ultraprecision technologies in order to achieve their superior functionality.
The course aims at deepening the students knowledge in selected high precision manufacturing processes, reliable microsystems, actuators and metrology, as well as technologies for sustainable production.
Case studies and examples for industrial applications are provided throughout all topics of the lecture.
