The lecture introduces the central topics of social psychology and gives the participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge by means of short videos, exercises, and quizzes. The lecture is obligatory for the preparatory year of the Bachelor's program.
The textbook (Kassin, Fein & Markus, 2021. Social Psychology. Boston: Cengage Learning) is available at a special price at the bugeno bookshop (vonRoll).
Please purchase ONLY the book (as hardcover or as eBook). Do NOT purchase access to the MindTap learning environment, which is also available from Cengage Publishing, because we are not offering a MindTap course this semester.
All other relevant texts, slides, and exercise materials for the lecture as well as podcasts will be made available on ILIAS. Our podcasts are usually not "live recordings" of the lectures but pre-recorded videos.
Prerequisites for admission to the examination:
Confirmation within the first weeks of the semester that you have read and understood all general information for this course (Syllabus & Study Tips).

Module examination together with Social Psychology II
Credited as"Freie Leistung":
If you are not studying psychology and would like to attend this course as a free achievement, this is only possible if you also attend the course "Social Psychology II". The two courses will be examined together. |
