Title Attachment in Childhood and Adulthood
Description The course gives an overview of major theories, concepts, and findings from research on attachment in childhood and adulthood. The course covers topics such as fundamentals of attachment theory, attachment and psychopathology, influence of early attachment experiences on later development, attachment in romantic relationships, attachment and emotion regulation, and attachment in old age.
Requirements: (1) Readings (homework). (2) Giving a presentation. (3) Regular and active attendance (max. 2 meetings may be missed). The meeting with the own presentation may not be missed. (4) Passing a final written exam (graded, Calendar Week 4).
Readings: Information on readings will be provided at the beginning of the course.
Course specialization: The lecture course can be credited for a module in developmental psychology (45, 30, or 15 ECTS) or as a facultative course.
