Description |
In the seminar, the basics of applied research in industrial and organizational psychology are discussed using original literature and practical examples.
The seminar is open to all students and can optionally be credited as a methods course. The methods and topics discussed are also relevant to other disciplines. Topics covered include: Choosing an interesting and relevant research topic; Research design; Methodological aspects of questionnaire research; Theory development; Meta-analyses; Questionnaire construction; Diary studies; Multi-level analyses; Longitudinal research; Qualitative research; Implications for practice from research. |
