Title |
Colloquium Social Neuroscience and Social Psychology |
Description |
In this course, ongoing research projects will be presented by colleagues and external guests, and master's and doctoral theses will be discussed constructively and critically.
Attendance of this course is compulsory for one semester in the first year of the Master's programme, if Social Neuroscience and Social Psychology is chosen in the main module (30 ECTS). A further one-semester attendance of the departmental colloquium is compulsory if the Master's thesis is written in the research group D. Knoch. If the Master's thesis is written in the research group S. Sczesny, attendance of the course "Forschungsseminar Forschungsgruppe Prof. Sczesny" (No. 407005 in the course catalogue) is obligatory for an additional semester.
Master students in the 3rd or 4th semester, who do not write their master thesis in this department, do not have to participate in this Colloquium in their last two semesters; but everyone is welcome to participate.
Students who only decide to study Social Neuroscience and Social Psychology as main or specialisation module in their third semester then attend this Colloquium in the 3rd and/or 4th semester. |
