Description |
Institutional investors are among the most important participants in the capital market. In Switzerland, pension funds in particular, but also insurance companies, health insurance funds and the AHV are investors whose behavior exerts a significant influence on what happens in the capital markets.
In the context of this lecture, a deeper understanding of the following questions is to be developed: What are the key framework conditions for the investment behavior of pension funds? What are the financial management and investment procedures of pension funds? How is the investment strategy of pension funds determined? What is the function of fluctuation reserves? What variations exist in the implementation of the investment strategy? How is the investment activity monitored?
The lecture combines theoretical knowledge of financial market concepts with practical experience. |
