Description |
This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the topic of biopsychosocial stress and its impact on interpersonal behavior. It covers the biological foundations of stress, psychological effects on social behavior, stress coping and social support, chronic stress, gender differences in stress response, stress in romantic relationships, family relationships, workplace stress and interpersonal behavior, stress, health, and interpersonal relationships, as well as the influence of social media and technology on stress levels and interpersonal relationships. Through discussions, case studies, research findings, and practical applications, students will develop a thorough understanding of this important subject. At the end of the seminar, students will have the opportunity to present their own research topics and engage in critical reflection on the acquired knowledge.
Requirements:
Requirements for the acquisition of 5 ECTS credits are:
- Regular and active participation in the sessions.
- Weekly assignments: During the seminar, weekly assignments will be given to promote a deep understanding of the seminar content. Students are obliged to submit these assignments on time and in appropriate quality.
- Presentation: Each student must prepare and deliver a presentation on a self-selected research topic related to the seminar content. The presentation should include relevant theories, empirical research findings, and critical analyses
The relevant literature will be made available online on the Ilias platform. |
