Title Using interventions to boost executive functions (Block seminar) => ABGESAGT
Description This seminar will be taught and assessed in English.
Content: The seminar looks at and discusses the use of interventions to accellerate the development of executive functions. Themes for discussion will include, for example, applicability and feasibility of intervention protocols across social contexts.
Requirements: By reading a basic text and/or completing tasks online (on ILIAS), all participants prepare thoroughly for each session. The seminar will be designed in such a way that the preparatory tasks will be discussed and elaborated upon. As part of the sessions, students will give a presentation on an intervention of choice, followed by further discussion (appropriate additional literature and materials will be suggested to the presenting students).
The acquisition of 3 ECTS requires regular, active participation in the seminar, and participation in a presentation. The basis for the grading will be the presentation, consistent contribution to class discussions, and a written piece of work to be handed in at the end of the semester. Further information on the final assessment will be provided during the seminar.
Registration: Registration must be made via KSL. Registration is binding and cannot be canceled or changed.
Literature: The relevant literature for the examination will be announced at the beginning of the semester.
