It will then give an overview of international environmental governance, including the relevant institutions, processes and actors. It will present the major concepts, principles and rules of international environmental law; address the main thematic areas (climate change, biodiversity, ozone layer, chemicals, waste, water and forests); and discuss the interface of international law with trade and development.
