Content:
The development and validation of instruments to measure individual differences in personality is an essential field of psychological diagnostics. In this seminar, students will develop and analyze a questionnaire. First, the theoretical foundations of the construct and questionnaire construction will be discussed. Subsequently, items will be generated, and the questionnaire will be presented to a sample. The questionnaire will be tested for its diagnostic quality (item statistics, reliability, factorial validity, convergent and discriminant validity) and modified if necessary. The seminar ends with a presentation and discussion of the results found.
Requierements for participation:
Regular and active participation in the seminar; active involvement in data collection; writing a report on the process of test construction.
