Type of exam Multiple Choice
Title Functional Anatomy and Histology
Description Why are we structurally build as we are? Because function determines structure. This class elucidates the relationship between the biological function and the macroscopic and microscopic structure of our organ systems. In particular the anatomy and histology of the cardiovascular, the musculoskeletal, and the nervous systems, as well as the respiratory, the urinary, the sexual, the digestive organs, and the sensory organs including the blood supply and immune response will be discussed. The organs and systems are discussed shortly before they will be covered in the physiology class. Therefore, this class represents a basis for the lectures in physiology.
