Title VA: Archaeology of the Levant (Syria)
Description The lecture series teaches the basics of the history and culture of the Ancient Near East. The course on the archaeology of the Levant covers the period from the Epipalaeolithic to the incorporation of the Levant into the Babylonian Empire around 600 BC. The Levant comprises the region from the Mediterranean coast to the Euphrates and from the Taurus to the Sinai.
