Selection criterion: students of the Master's Program Biomedical Engineering are given preference. PhD students, students from other study programs or guest students are admitted to this course if free places are available.

• Skill(s) Elementary analysis and vector algebra
• Course(s) none
Required Material or Equipment:
• Laptop with Matlab installed. BME students can download a free Matlab license. Other students can buy a student version on www.mathworks.com.

• Course materials are regularly posted on Ilias (www.ilias.unibe.ch).
Textbook(s) and other Reading Material:
• Engineering Mechanics I and II by Gross D., Hauger, W, Schröder J, Wall W. and Rajapakse N, Springer Verlag, 2013.
