Title Self-management and personality
Description The seminar deals with the following subject areas:

In General:
1) Self and time management (theoretical basics of volition, motivation, self-management, time management as well as self-efficacy / self-worth / Big 5 as influencing factors of personality characteristics for the application and the most important scientifically validated procedures for the application)
2) Stress management (theoretical foundations, procedures, influence of resilience and mindfulness as current research areas) as well as the scientific evaluation of self- and stress management.

On the one hand, the theoretical foundations are developed using scientific articles and book chapters in the sense of “shared knowledge”, i.e. based on reading, discussion and short presentations by the lecturer and students. On the other hand, practical exercises to implement what has been learned are planned during the lesson, the use of self- and stress management tools is practiced and case studies are worked on.

Regular participation, regular preparation of literature and active participation in discussions and practical exercises. The students take on an expert meeting and other small tasks in small groups.
