Title |
HPC and cloud computing |
Description |
Large calculations require large computational power. These calculations can be done by using on-premises high performance computer (HPC) clusters or commercially available cloud services. In science, most computing systems are Linux-based and use job-scheduling to organize calculations with different priorities and sizes. In this course the participant will learn the basics on how to work on a HPC cluster, with cloud computing and job-scheduling software
The course as well as the exam will take place in person. |
