Methods seminar: Conducting systematic reviews |
Description |
Systematic reviews can produce the highest quality of evidence and play a key role in the progression of a research field. In this seminar all the processes that go into conducting a systematic review will be introduced step by step, highlighting the factors that influence a systematic review’s transparency, reproducibility, and quality of evidence.
Students will become familiar with important guidelines and resources for conducting systematic reviews. In groups, students will design a systematic review, test the planned procedures, and write a protocol for the systematic review. The seminar also includes in-class presentations of the planned systematic review. |
